I’ve got a project to do for a community college class. It goes:
“You are part of the Networking Team of Beyond Dreams, a major retail company. The company operates from a single Head office and employs two classes of sales staff, whose offices occupy 3 floors of the 5 story building.

Recently management has set aside a budget to equip the sales staff with the latest computer technology- Laptops for the senior sales staff and laptops for the normal sales staff and networked printers…. The sales staff would also need to have Internet access..”
Aim: To produce a feasibility report outlining the provisioning of the computer systems within the company and to develop a project plan for its implementation.

1st of all, you know the senior staff always gets the best stuff first. The ones who work on the systems get the old stuff that hardly functions. This is the reverse of the way it should be, as senior staff does things like work on spreadsheets, email, and word documents and the worker bees are the ones with the heavy CAD drawings, software programming, eyes of the customer on their crappy laptops…
So, fire everyone in management and promote from within. Hire a consultant to build the network because you obviously don’t know how to answer the question or you wouldn’t be asking it. Continue failing yourself in life as you pass college on the shoulders of other giants before you. Then, when you have your shiny paperwork saying you have a degree, go into life and meet real failure. You’ll be happier working at a fast food restaurant anyway. They have these books that tell you exactly how to cook the burgers, fries, and wait on customers. It seems to meet your lazy personality.
–Why do people continually ask high school and college questions here? It’s an easy forum to get answers, but don’t ask the exact question that the instructor asked you. At least spruce it up and give us what you think is the correct answer and we can correct you where you are wrong. You’re not doing the work required for me to want to assist you.
