network adaptor is not showing in system management?

i can not connect to internet through wireless adaptor the icon in the bottom right a computer screen with a red cross when disconected,has dissapeared also conect to … wireless network in start menu has gone, network adaptor in system management has gone too, is this a driver lost? i have connected to the internet using the same computer before any ideas?

    Your probably right the driver has most likely gone, or you have disabled the wireless card,

    First of all find ‘Network Connections’ and see if the Wireless card is there but grayed out. If so right-click and click enable.

    If not then I could only suggest browsing the Laptops manufacturer website and locating the required driver from them.
