We foster professional management and development.

BACKGROUND

The Mauritian Institute of Management was created in 1974 to promote the profession of management in both the public and private sector.

OBJECTIVES

The main objectives of the MIM are To promote the art and science of management and to advance public education therein.





To promote conduct and support research into the art and science of management and to publish the result of all such research.





To publish, produce and distribute and to assist in the publication, production and distribution of books, literature, periodicals and journals.





To lay down standards of education, training and experience in the science of management appropriate for the admission of persons to the various grades of membership of the Institute.





To formulate standards of professional conduct and competence for all those engaged in management and to encourage members of the Institute to compose to the same.
